Welcome to Bags Mauritius. By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from our platform, you explicitly agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all customers, visitors, and users.

1. Introduction & About Us

Bags Mauritius is an online retail boutique based in Mauritius, specializing in premium handbags, everyday leather totes, office laptop bags, travel accessories, and custom corporate merchandise. We operate exclusively through our digital storefront at bags.mu.

2. Customer Eligibility & Product Representation

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order on bags.mu. By checking out, you confirm that all personal parameters supplied are accurate. We reserve the absolute right to refuse service to anyone at our sole discretion.

All items are subject to sudden local stock availability. While we make every attempt to show high-fidelity product imagery, subtle color tone variances may happen due to digital monitor calibration profiles.

3. Financial Pricing, Payment Methods & Deposits

All list values are displayed in Mauritian Rupees (MUR) and are subject to adjustment without prior notification. We authorize two secure payment frameworks:

• • MCB Juice: Full checkout invoice settlement rendered upfront.
• • Cash on Delivery (COD): A mandatory 10% deposit is collected to filter genuine buyers and secure the logistics dispatch path. The remaining 90% balance is settled upon doorstep parcel delivery.

Deposit Rules: Standard 10% COD structural deposits are strictly non-refundable if you request a cancellation following purchase confirmation. Should Bags Mauritius dissolve an order due to stock depletion, your security allocation will be reversed back to your profile in full.

4. Fulfillment Logistics, Made-to-Order & Pickups

In-stock accessories are structured for regional courier dispatch or scheduled distribution within 48 hours. Items designated as made-to-order are systematically dispatched from our design base in India; timeline expectations are calculated independently.

Logistical timelines act as estimates and are not completely guaranteed. Bags Mauritius waives liability for third-party courier sorting backlogs, border customs delays, or packages linked to incorrect delivery addresses. In-person warehouse pickups are organized strictly by prior digital appointment.

5. Intellectual Property & Limitation of Liability

All custom source elements hosted on bags.mu—including branding logos, photographic lookbooks, textual paragraphs, and aesthetic layout structures—remain the exclusive intellectual property of Bags Mauritius.

We declare zero liability for indirect, consequential asset losses arising from product deployment, environmental degradation, or improper material use subsequent to an approved delivery handover.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdictional Bounds

These Terms of Service are constructed and governed strictly in accordance with the statutory laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Any formal legal disputes arising from use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
